Give Me A Break

There are a couple of things I would like to say that (see title) as a very resounding slap-on-your-face answer.

I. Stating what should have been the obvious

Don't offer me things that you know I should have in the first place asking me if I want them or not. That is, if you don't like hearing sarcastic things coming out of my vile mouth. Was that intended as an insult? I'm slowly getting fed up of that thing you do. I know you wouldn't want to see me fed up. And please, drop the hypocrisy. I'm more hypocrite than what you're trying to be.

II. Recurrences

I think I've heard and seen it all before. I gave the best of what I can say (read: advices), though, I'm not saying that you follow what I said. I was just stating facts, and some options. It's like I was saying that "caution: the beverage you're about to enjoy is extremely hot" and you say "ok" and then I see you attacking it as if the kingdom will come tomorrow and you wouldn't have any other chance of enjoying it (but that was after you have wailed and flailed like a baby with a tantrum). Then you decide you wouldn't do it again, that the next time you'd get a hold of yourself. But then I see you doing the same mistake again. There's only so much "water" that a "sponge" can hold. If you're not that decided yet, shut up. If you would keep saturating me with that incessant whinings, the title's for you.

Peace.

Back

Okay, I'm really not in the mood to jot down everything that happened in the past two months that I wasn't visible in this blog (I honestly thought this site has grown molds and webs), but I woud have to say it was hell - literally and figuratively.

But, as the cliche goes, it's nice to be back.

The Nerve!

"Xcuse me. Dnt flood my inbox. I dnt knw hu u are either."

Kung may nagbabasa man ng entry na 'to, basahin mo ulit yung nireply ko. Subukan mong hanapan ng mali. Wala di ba? O tuloy na...

Naghintay ako ng sagot niya. At hindi ako nabigo.

"wah, u spoke broken english cn u mke it ryt, hw pathetic r u,.wel u dnt knwme bt uve send me dt s2pid txt of urs, hmmp, manyakz u b?"

Wala akong inedit dyan.

"Excuse me, maybe it's u who's needing a grammar check. How dare you say that to an english major graduate and a speech professor. I've no time for this."

"wah, u spoke broken english cn u mke it ryt, hw pathetic r u,.wel u dnt knwme bt uve send me dt s2pid txt of urs, hmmp, manyakz u b? -check ur sentence constructions please. and dont flood my inbox."

Kaya please, cut it out."

Punyeta!

Isa lang talaga ang masasabi ko:

THE NERVE!

The Curse of Taft Avenue

This is an overlate post since it's only now that I found the time to blog, what with all the demands of the school. (I remember the House of Representatives where there is an Appearance Fee - you get paid for attendance, sana ganun din sa school!)

Twice have I experienced the excruciatingly annoying traffic jams in Taft Avenue, especially around the hours of 12 noon to 3 in the afternoon. And to top it all off, I've got classes at 1. Great! I don't really know what went through my mind and I took a 1 pm schedule. Being an irregular student, I have the liberty/privilege to choose the most convenient times for me. And I didn't use it well. Fuck!

So there I went, stuck in the unrelenting congestion of the accursed road, inside a bus with cheesy love songs playing on their radio. Good thing it's airconditioned or I would have screamed from frustration. Henceforth, I have cursed the road, the traffic and the whole dratted condition of the Philippines, and sent, through a group message, my sentiment at the moment:

"PUTANG INA!!! AYOKO NA SA PILIPINAS! AYOKO NANG MAGING PILIPINO!"

Lesson learned: Never again take a class schedule near noon (earlier than 12 and a few hours after 12). NEVER!
